I'm still looking for things we need that are gender-neutral, specifically today gliders. Where did you get yours, what brand, do you like it so far? TIA
I got a Dutailer from Buy Buy Baby. We were able to custom order it so we picked out the model, finish, and fabric. It wasn't cheap (about $500), but it is soooo comfortable and will last for the next few kids as well. Here's a pic:

We have the Shermag locking glider, bought on Amazon but shipped from Target. Love it! DS is 10mo old today and we still use it daily. Our entire nursery, etc. was gender-neutral; we used green/brown a lot.

Thanks girls I like the expensive one, does it come in other colors?
Here's the website. You can pick out the series you like (ours is the 908 series), click on it, click on "More Details", and at the bottom of the page you can see the optional fabrics and finishes.
I got my Dutailier (well my mom and DH did) at BRU. It is the XL sleigh glider and locks and reclines....I am in love with it and actually fell asleep on it twice:-) It is on sale right now in a nice sage color. I think it's $539 for the chair and ottoman (regularly 499 for the chair and 189 for the ottoman). GL!
I really wanted an upholstered one so that it could be used in the future & not look so "baby"-ish. We first ordered a Shermag through Target because the price was great. When it arrived, the box looked pretty beat up & the chair was actually broken. My husband contacted Shermag to see if they would send a new part so he could fix it, but they said they couldn't. After thinking about it, he really thought it was poorly made.
So, long story short, we ended up ordering a Best Chair glider/recliner. It was a bit more expensive (ended up around $600) but we could pick our own fabric & the one in the store was very sturdy & comfortable as well.
Don't overlook Craigslist, too. My DH and I got a Dutalier that was only a year old, and in perfect condition. It's beige and came with a gliding ottoman too. You have to be pretty diligent about checking the listings, but you can find some great pieces of nursery furniture for WAY cheaper than the ultra-marked up versions in the baby stores.

FYI - Mine took 2 months to come in, so order it early.
Here's the link.....I'm pretty sure the sale is for this color only, but it is a nice color!
