does anyone else's DC smell everything?

DS started this about a month ago where he'd skooch over and smell our legs or socks. DS always buries his face and smells my neck or my shoulders. He even smells the lights on his bouncer... it's really cute.

Is this something that all babes do or is my DS just curious?

    My DS does something like this. He puts his face up really close to things and sometimes even licks them- like parts of his toys (especially lights), mirrors, my shirt, playground equipment, my collar bone. It never occured to me he might be smelling them, maybe youre right! And my DS is very curious, not clingy at all just constantly exploring, so I think it goes with that type of personality.
