  Macy is nms but I do think it's cute. I don't think of it as anything like Violet though.... maybe that doesn't matter to you but I am obsessed w/ my DC's names "going together." Maybe I'm just weird. Violet is such an old name that translates very well into adulthood. Macy is new and cute and bubbly.

  I guess it's not that bad, but I don't really like it. It is too simple for my taste. Plus, it reminds me of Macy's.

  Too much of a "little girl" name to me.  I don't think it would grow up well, I mean I couldn't imagine being a 30 year old named Macy.

  I don't care for Macy as a stand alone name, but if she was always called Macy-Jane, that is kinda cute.

  I like Macie but spelled Macy it reminds me of the department store. Its a cute name though.

  If we have a girl, she will be Macy/Macie (spelling is still in negotiation).  I like Jane, too.
