I know there is a whole board for baby names, but I wanted to stick with my ladies in first trimester. Its nice to "talk" to the same group every day. Has anyone picked out a name/names yet? I know its early, but we have been wishing/hoping for this day for so long that we already have names picked out. Stella Rayann for a girl.....and pretty sure its Emmett James for a boy. Just thought it would be neat to see some other ideas!

We are talking about names. We have always referred to our second child as "Eddie" even though I wasn't pregnant. I am now and I know it's weird but I hate calling something inside of me "it" or "the baby". Naming him is more real to me. I say him cause my husband doesn't think he can have girls!! haha. So.......with that said, we are probably looking at Edward Jacob. I also like Finneus, but we'll see. Oh, and if it's a girl, Josephine Marie

We are going with Haden Jason for a boy and Anya Sue for a girl. Middle names are family names, but I am obsessed with the show Buffy the Vampire Slayer (I know I am way to old for this) and I have named all my past pets after the show so the only name left is either Anya or Buffy and I don't think any child would want to be called Buffy Duffy

Callie and Isabella for girls. For boys were torn he hates what I like. Mine are Carson and Owen. He wants the baby to be named after him (Anthony) and to call him Junior which I am not that big on. We have a while so were just messing around with names right now.

We think it will be Ava (not sure on middle yet) for a girl and Michael for a boy. My dh wants Pasquale because it's a family name but I say no way. I don't think there are many or an black/italian/japanese kids named Pasquale out there....lol

I've thought about it and, though we are far from decided, I don't think I want to share ours until the baby is born- including with friends and family. I like unique names and like that our top contenders aren't usually the ones I see other people talking about and since they are different I really don't care to hear unsolitcited opinions- we'll choose what we like and probably some people will like them and some won't. I don't want anyone else trying to put the names down b/c they somehow think since the baby isn't born they can change our minds. I have no idea why I feel so strongly about it- I'm usually not anal-retentive about things like this.

Boy its a toss up. I like Landon Jeremey. DH likes Chace Jeremey No matter what the first name the middle will be DH's name.

We have our names pretty much hammered out:

Anthony Wayne for a boy, and Evelyn Kay for a girl. Both combine family names from both sides, and as an added bonus - we really like them. We aren't telling anyone until after the baby is born and it's inked on the birth certificate... Stick out tongue

We are thinking Alina or Alena for a girl and Nolan for a boy. But we had Olivia picked out for DD since TTCing and changed our minds when I was 8 months pg. DH and I were doing dishes and I randomly came out with Evelyn and we both LOVED it.

We thought we would try and keep it a secret and so did one of my BFs, but we just couldn't take it anymore the other day and spilled the beans on our favorite names. She is about 2 months ahead of me and they had picked out Sawyer for either a boy or girl....which was one of our names we like also!!! I'm glad I found out now, so we could keep throwing ideas around. Guess we are just too much alike!

We're going with family names for a boy: Mark (DH) William (My Dad), but calling him "Will" to avoid confusion. (My dad goes by Bill, and I don't want to get into the "Junior" thing.)

If it's a girl, we decided on Brooklyn May. Because even though we are moving back to Chicago in June, this little one got her start here, so it seemed right. May is my middle name and was my grandmother's as well.

Family was told the names, and also told (nicely) that we weren't asking for opinions. They seem on board.

Ava Josephine or Josephine Grace (nn-Josie) - Josephine was my grandmother and great-grandmother's names (my great-grandma named her daughter after herself).

We are thinking Olivia Alice for a girl, and Gabriel James for a boy. Both are hypothetical at this point, but we went with new names as primary and family names as middle. Other ones we have are Mathilde Jean (both family names) and Tomas Henry (no family names).

We still have a mile-long list! but there are a few that I like and DH is pretty positive about them. Addison, Elizabeth, and Lily for a girl, and Ethan or Evan for a boy. Still very far from sure, though!

Victoria Rose was always the girl name I had picked out before I met my husband. Now it doesn't go with our last name.

Elizabeth Anne for a girl and Reagan Freeman for a boy. I like William for a boy, but our last name can sound like a not so nice verb that starts with an F. I am sure that they would call him Will F**** and that would not be nice.

Adleigh is such a pretty name! Oooh, name envy. June would be beautiful with that (they all would, but as I have a month middle name, I am clearly biased).
