EFness of Murphy's Oil Soap?

I'm on a squirrel deterrent hunt.  Most of the green gardening sites I've looked at suggest a mixture of Murphy's, hot sauce, and cayenne pepper, but I don't know anything about Murphy's other than that I'd need to buy some.  Thoughts?
