for those of you having boys..

in 3rd Trimester

Both DH and I were born with CRAZY amounts of hair!! S im pretty sure JJ will also be born with lots of hair.. so my question is..At what age do you think its ok to cut baby's hair?? If he come out with super cute curls (like DH's although he never grows it out) I can hold off but if he has ugly hair like mine (wavy and just not cute) it may have to get cut pretty soon...

and just so you know i may repost this tomorrow since their isnt very many of us on right now.. and im really curious to hear answers...

    HMMMM being that I cut hair I would say when DS can sit up on his own and be able to not move his head and be very still. ?

    We cut Ruben's hair a little over a year, it was looking yucky when we did. Gabe has cute little curls so we still haven't cut his, I put it in a ponytail today lol!

    I don't think baby's hair grows that fast, I don't think you will have to worry about cutting it within the first 6 months.  I would say first hair cut between 6-12 months if your baby has A TON of hair.  ((closer to 1st b-day))  I will probably hold off on the first hair cut for as long as I can.

    well i would wait after the baby is about 5 months old... but it depends if he has cute or stubborn hair.

    My SIL's niece shaved her little boys head with I think a one or two at like 4 months because it was so long and in his face.

    I am definitly going to have my son's hair cut like DH's.  The little boy I nanny for, his mom doesn't want him to have a "big boy" hair cut and his hair just always looks like mop on his head.  Her friend buzzes her son's hair, and he just looks so cute.  And when I say buzz, its shaved a little longer on the top and short on the sides... I am not a hair dresser so I don't know what this style is called, but this is how Dh's hair is cut.

    I would think at the earliest 6 months but some babies come out with alot of hair and then lose it or get that little bald spot on the back of their head. I have two nephews and one had cute curly hair we didn't cut til he was one and the other had head surgery so he had to get his head shaved at 6 months.
