Pedi Update

We went to pedi yesterday. He has gained 4oz in 2 months but I know he's lost since I've his diapers are now too big. I've had to go a size down. So while he's gained very little in 2 months, in the last month I know he's lost weight. Anyway, he has 2 of the worst ear infections she has seen in her 28 years of practice. She said she didn't care what he ate but it had to be something. Tried to give him Gatarade, 7 up, and Sprite in the office and he looked at her like she was crazy and then screamed at her when she came near him with a bottle. Says reflux is for sure worse and out of control...AGAIN. Going to a new GI pedi at Cooks. Had 3 wet diapers in a 24 hr period, if he has 3 or less today she will put him in the hospital. If he won't eat and loses weight she'll put him in the hospital and we'll probably get a G Tube. Fun times. So we're hoping for the best and that he'll start eating something soon. Good news is he doesn't seem to be bothered by his raging ear infections- no crying, pulling on ears, no fever- nothing. I'm almost shocked she didn't put him in the hospital yesterday.

oh, and in the few weeks that we took the pic in siggy, he looks nothing like this because he has lost weight. That scares me when you can look at a pic several weeks ago and he looks so different.

Ohh poor Colton!! I really hope he turns around today. I will keep your family in my thoughts & prayers.

Oh no! I am so sorry for little Colton. I know how stressful it can be when your kiddo is sick but I am sure it will get better soon. Try not to worry too much (I know, I know, that is extremely hard). Keep us updated, I will be thinking about him!
