What have you tried? We went from STTN to 2-3 wake ups per night for 10 days now. I'm feeding her and she'll go back to sleep, but normally needs to be rocked/held too. I kinda want to try Ferber, but I'm not sure if I should wait.
no suggestions- mine hasn't slept through the night yet so i never went through this. But are you now feeding her 2-3 times per night? if so, i would definitely stop that since she has been STTN before. No need for it.

I'm sleep deprived so I'm not trying to be rude, but how do you know there is no need for it? If the kid is eating, there might be a need for it. Sleep patterns change, there are growth spurts, developmental spurts, meeting milestones, etc.

Sorry! i didn't mean it that way. I just think that sometimes it is the easiest way to get them to go back to sleep but not always necessary. I swear my LO would eat everytime she woke at night if I fed her. It must be my damn pedi in my head telling me that my LO at 4 months absolutely did not need to eat overnight anymore ( i still do it). Going from STTN to 2-3 feeds sounds so exhausting for you. If you just rocked your LO or used a paci if you did, would she still go back to sleep?
Also, I just read that article. I wish they knew my bottle fed baby who is just as hungry in the middle of the night as any baby. What bottle fed baby feeds themselves at 4 months?

Yeah - I thought that was weird. That is interesting that she attributed it to be able to look around during feedings. DS is bottle fed during the day and he is still waking A LOT at night. I think that is bs.

If she is eating, I wouldn't do ferber. Sounds like she's hungry. I thought this article on kellymom was interesting:

I agree with Eco on this!
