Whoa, fabric softener, whoa.

A friend gave me a handful of Maternity clothes that she didn't need anymore and I was just trying them on. I can't believe I ever used fabric softener. I feel like I still smell like it even though I only had the clothes on for about a minute. yeesh.

    I know the feeling..sometimes when I walk outside you can smell it in the air we neighbors are drying ugh gross...

    I know!

    I get hand me downs for DD from my BFF. I commented on the fabric softener once... she said that her MIL must have washed that because her MIL uses BOTH liquid softener and dryer sheets! Gak!

    My BFF doesn't realize that ALL the clothes smell that way, and... so does she. I guess it's not a bad smell, it's just so overwhelming!

    Also, I can still smell the softener on the clothes after washing them 3x! With f&c detergent and vinegar in the rinse! It's crazy.

    DH was addicted to fabric softner.  I think he still uses it on occasion when he washes our clothes.  Fortuantely, it hasn't been an issue with anything yet...  Embarrassed  I must admit - I do kind of like the smell on the comforter...

    I tried talking a friend out of using dryer sheets on her DD's traning pants b/c they were repelling and not very absorbent but she just said "I love the smell of them" Ack. Now that I don't use them I can't stand the smell of them. Although I have to use them on DH's work shirts b/c they get mad staticky otherwise and he gets mad at me. Oh and that same friend wonders why when she tried CDs that they repelled too...hmmm?
