  Good Morning! We do have our nursery started. I even got the mattress yesterday from my wonderful in-laws! We went with furniture from JC Penney and mix and match bedding from Target. The walls are a khaki color and I bought a wall decal with Tessa on it from Etsy. I put the bedding on but I stll haven't take any pictures. I will post pics later!

  We finally decided on bedding and furniture for our nursery. I'm going to buy the bedding today with with a BRU coupon and will be ordering the furniture this week too.?

  We are a bit behind - we have plans, but no actual furniture...  My mom and dad are giving us dressers and a rocking chair, so we just need to get a crib.  We are doing a Very Hungry Caterpillar nursery so almost everything is DIY - or, more accurately, DI-Someone Else:  My aunt is making the valance, my uncle is creating cushions for the rocking chair, and we went to etsy for bedding.  I can't wait for everything to come together!

  As much as we're planners/researchers for big things, it's the little details that we can't seem to get our heads around quickly.  We just cleared the room out yesterday (was a guest room), still need to pick a colour before painting.  Problem is, we don't know what bedding to get, since we're team green, so I have to find a colour that'll go with either possible bedding choices, once we make them.  90% sure of the crib/dresser set though, Broadway from Babies R Us.  One more store to hit this weekend, then we'll see.  Starting to feel way behind!

   First OB appointment this week.

  We did a TON of work yesterday!  We put up the border, did some touch up painting, steam cleaned the carpet, put together the dresser/changing table, and then moved in the glider, dresser, and bookshelf.  I couldn't sleep last night, so I hung out in there reading for awhile this morning!

  LOL  Gangsta's paradise!

  The nursery was coming along great and then the weather turned nice so that took priority... and then I ran out of painter's tape but I just picked up some more yesterday so I can continue taping off the stripes.  Maybe today after work I will get some more done!  I hope to completely finish painting this weekend but we'll see how that goes!

  Good morning!  Our nursery is near complete!  The room is done - walls repaired and painted (we live in an old victorian home so that was a huge undertaken), walls are yellow with white trim.  Hardwood floors are in.  Curtains and shades are hung.  Got my rug - oval yellow braided - from Lanmd of Nod. Artwork is up.

  My furniture is in - I do not have pix yet but I will try to get some.  We got Wendy Bellissimo Cherry sleigh style crib, armoire, dresser.  Also got a cherry bookcase.  My mattress just arrived - Colgate Classica I.  I have my bedding - Wendy Bellissimo Starlight.

  Only things left to do is install shelving in the closet (DH working on that now) and install a new light fixture. I'm feeling pretty good.

  Everything is going good.  I ordered the furniture from JC pennys.  The bedding from babies r us.  It has whales, ships and a monkey.  I am leaving the wall color neutral and I found a huge "comical" giant whale decal for the wall.  I put in a closet organizer last weekend (what a chore). 

   I decided not to make my husband paint.  Is anyone else painting by themselves?  I was a little afraid due to the warnings out there...maybe I am a little cautious.  What are the dangers?

  We are way behind.  The nursery is already painted, it was a yellow guest room, and we like it, so we're going to leave it.  The crib will be ordered this weekend, MIL is coming to visit from CA and wants to buy the crib for us.  We have a dresser we are going to use, but my DH needs to sand and re stain it to match the crib.  I do have the bedding, I got it for a steal on Ebay brand new.

  I also found a glider and ottoman for $200 on Craisglist last night, and I'm going to see it today.  It's the Storytime series from Best Chairs in green.  If that works out the last thing we'll need is a bookshelf and some wall decals, and then we'll have everything, and just have to set it up.

  We really haven't started the nursery yet - we are putting the baby into my old office, so there is a lot of rearranging and organzing to do! I have everything picked out - paint, fabrics, carpet - and I have the furniture, so as soon as my DH can get the computer and desk furniture out, I'm starting!

  We have to move before we can decorate or make a nursery but so far we can't find an apartment to fit our requirements... Still have 3 months to move so that's not too bad. Our lease ends in July.

  Furniture-wise, we don't have any yet. Trying to buy from a friend but she's so busy she hasn't let us see the crib/changetable/dresser yet since its all in storage. Frustrating...  if she doesn't get back to us this week we're going to buy from kijiji.

  I'm pretty overwhelmed with everything I have to do with this point, with registering (and all of the research that goes along with that) and the nursery, so it's a slow process. I'm sick just about every day, and it's all I can do to muster up enough energy to go to work. Doing anything physical when I get home is pretty much out of the question.

  We're using our former guest room for the nursery, and the walls are already painted, so we're decorating around them. I'm not particular about a theme; I'll just be choosing colors.

  We haven't done anything. I have all the furniture picked out and we will start buying it soon. We've had the bedding for quite a while. We're not painting...we will be buying a decal I found online. Otherwise we're keeping it simple.

  We are in the process of house hunting & need to move before we can actually start on the nursery. We do have our furniture (still in boxes) & DH's grandma is buying our rocker for us, so we still have to go get that. We also have bedding picked out, but won't be able to make that decision until tomorrow when we go for the big u/s! So I guess that we haven't made too much progress just yet. Wish I was able to give a better report, if it were up to me everything would already be done!

  Well I have the crib, dresser/changing table, glider and crib mattress but nothing has been put together and I need to paint the room and get the carpets cleaned and then I will be good to go.

  Ahhh... the nursery. Thus far there has been no decoration done. But we have finally started clearing out the room. So there has been some progress! 

  Our plan is to have the room completely empty by the end of May and painted in the beginning of June. We'll have our carpets cleaned then and move in the furniture (crib from the DH's sister, rest we'll buy new) and slowly bring in little decorative pieces.

  The baby will be in a bassinet in our room for a bit and my MIL is an interior decorator, so we'll be OK.

  Good morning...ugh, back to work!

  We did a lot of work on the nursery over our break....the walls were already painted blue, so we just did some touch ups.  I re-painted the woodwork, heating vents, and closet doors (they were all already white, but a new coat of paint made them look better).  We also put in new doors on all of our upstairs bedrooms, so the nursery has a brand new, freshly painted door as well.  We got the crib put together, and I put the bedding in it.  We moved the glider and my old toy chest in...now we just have to wait for the dresser and armoire to come in from BRU, and I can finish things up!  I will post pics later, but we have a sports-themed bedding set from BRU.  It is looking great so far!

  We are leaving our gender neutral nursery (Wendy Bellissimo Honey Bee in sage/buttercup) that we did for DS as the nursery and moving him into a "big boy" room. We are hoping to transition him to a toddler bed once Grace is 3 months old and leaving our room (as long as he is ready) and she will take over his crib/room. The theme for DS's big boy room is this:

  He obviously will not be using the bedding (for a twin bed) just yet, but we are painting the room to match, installing new carpet, new heater covers, and have all new shelving/canvas bins in matching colors to redo his closet which is a disaster area.

  Well, I would take the time/effort to go upstairs and PIP if there was anything more than studs to the rooms.

  We are putting an addition on our house, so while we do have a room at this point, it has no walls.

  Morning! We just bought our crib (Graco 2-in-1 convertible crib from Target) and mattress yesterday, and I spent the whole day clearing out the closet and rearranging furniture in the guest room. So far it's nowhere near being finished, but at least we made a start...

  All of the furniture is ordered with the exception of the glider. We ordered the Olivia crib from JcPenney's which is backordered until 5/19, the mattress is alreday in, and the dressers (also from JCP) are supposed to come in sometime this week. We are going to paint next month and hope to have everything all ready to go by the end of May, but we will see. I am not a fan of nursery themes or bedding sets so we just plan on doing a brown and blue room with polka dots. Pretty simple!

  Hi ladies   We are pretty far along on the nursery...we painted it a light light orange, almost peachy color and there are 2 white stripes about a third the way down the wall, the top stripe is smaller then the bottom one.  The link to our bedding is below.  I put together the crib yesterday and the curtains are hung.  We still have other stuff to hang on the walls and a shelf we need to put up as well but other then that I think we're pretty much set

  The nursery is done. We are just using the nursery from our DD as it was decorated neutrally (for fear that her ultrasound picture was wrong). But, the project is getting our DD's "big girl" room done....haven't started that!

We went to Pottery Barn Kids this weekend and I fell inlove with the Fairy bedding. So we got that set w/ the bumper & skirt.   We're actually way behind. We're currently living in a 1 bdrm apartment and in the middle of getting our 1st house. So until we move into our house, nothing will be done   I just purchased the bedding this weekend on ebay (so much cheaper) and we have the crib from DD (it is white and our bedding is blue and white).

  I hate procrastinating, so this is driving me nuts. I just hope that everything works our for us. *crosses fingers*

  We bought the paint yesterday! I'm so excited! We're doing all of the walls lilac except one. That one will have pink, chocolate brown, lilac and light green blocks on it. I bought the bedding. I know what furniture I want, I'm just waiting until the room is painted and ready before I buy it. It's black.

  Dh said he'll have the painting done by Saturday.....we'll see!

  Sadly, our nursery isn't as far along as I'd like. We started by tearing down the ugly ceiling tiles and putting up new drywall. That needs just one more coat of paint and then we're sanding and refinishing the wood floors. Then the wall paint. I do have the crib and dresser sitting in a box ready to assemble but I'm getting anxious to get it all in. Hopefully, since it's raining the next couple of days, we can make a little more progress.

  This is my 2nd baby- so we're moving my son into a big boy room and keeping the nursery as is. Its gender neutral. We have the white Contenment furniture from Stanley Furnitures Young America Collection.

  My son's big boy room is going to be a surf theme- I bought the bedding from Pottery Barn ages ago. We just ordered his furniture.

  We have everything picked out but haven't bought anything yet. 

  The walls will be khaki; the bedding will be pink, green, and brown; the crib will be white and from IKEA; and we will re-paint an old dresser of mine and put new hardware on it.  I guess we need to get started pretty soon...

  Currently we are working on cleaning out the second bedroom and converting that into DDs room.  We thought she should get the bigger room since she is oldest.  Baby will sleep in our room in the basinett until 3-4 months.  If baby is girl baby will just move in.  If baby is boy we will be doing some painting and using my nephews bear bedding/accessories to decorate.

  Well we know what we want to do with the nursery but we haven't started it yet - but we should be starting it within the next month. I graduate from my grad program in a couple of weeks and that will allow for more time to work on baby stuff. I can't wait to be done with school and to start being able to focus on our little one.

  We go in for another ultrasound this coming Wednesday - I am so excited to our baby again! So pray that everything goes well

  QOTD: Unfortunatly we have not done a darn thing with the nursery. Since we are planning on keeping the baby in our room for the first year, we most likely will not put it together until our little guy arrives home. I have lots of ideas though.

  I am feeling pretty good, have gained a little more in the last 4 weeks than I would have liked, but I am blaming all my bad eating on our 10 days in Hawaii. I have my glucose test in 3 hours and am a little nervous about it, I just hope I pass,  because I really don't want to have to take the 3 hr. We will see how it goes. Hope all is well with everyone else.

  I bought some great bedding that had been pretty much discontinued. I saw it online, but Target only had a few pieces left. I had to get what they had. I found another piece on Overstock.com, and I found the last piece on eBay. I got everything but the mobile. I still don't have furniture yet. SIL is giving us their's, but the in laws have to go to Michigan to pick it up for us. I am not sure when we are getting it.

  I'm feeling really down all of a sudden.  i don't know if its a combination of things or what, we're coming up on the 2nd yr. anniversary of my fathers' death in may.  this pregnancy has been difficult to take b/c it reminds me so much of my father since he was still alive up till this point when i was pg. w/ DS # 1.  it makes me so sad still that he never got to meet DS and had to pass away before his birth.  also i tested my sugar yesterday and it was on the high side so i'm feeling that i'm going to fail the GD test again which has got me down too.    and to top it all off DH is being a jerk lately!  i feel like i need a vacation but all by myself.  sorry to vent here girls but i need to let it out somewhere.  thanks for listening.

  We are moving our daughter to a big girl room, so all of the furniture is already in the nursery.  I have taken all of the pink and girlie things out of there.  I do have the blue crib skirt and sports themed sheet on the crib.  We aren't buying a crib set this time around - just decorating with red, blue, and sports.  The walls are a khaki color, so we don't have to repaint - yay!

  We have a lot of baby stuff but we have yet to put it all together. Our theme? It's a toss up between celestial (stars and whatnot) and beach. Perhaps we'll combine both. We are in hunt of finding plain hanging letters that will spell out her name. We will be painting them ourselves. We will also be putting a lot of stars up on the ceiling that glow in the dark. Room colors? Silver, blue and black.
