what do you think of re-gifting?

in Babies: 9 - 12 Months

for DS shower i got this really nice/cute first impressions blanket; but it was more coral colors... looked kinda girley.  I never used it for DS and never tried to exchange it.

What do you think of re-gifting to my cousin who just had a little girl?

    I would do it as long as the item was never open, washed or used.

    I bought a sleep sack for DS, but he was swaddled until 3 months and when we did go to the sleep sacks, that one did not fit. So, I just gave it to my SIL for her shower the other week. DS never used it at all.

    I think it's fine as long at the item is in new/mint condition, unopened etc. ?:) ?If you can't use it then someone else probably can! ?:)

    lol i think ill be regifting every single piece of clothing MIL has sent us when dh's sister has a baby. they still have tags on them - they are so tacky.

    depends who its from. for some reason i would feel really bad re-gifting something his grandparents or somebody close to him gave him

    I re-gift stuff my MIL buys at places like Kohl's. All this frilly, lacy nonsense that makes no sense to put on a baby whose favorite game is what she calls "hat," which involves smearing cottage cheese on her hair and on her chest.

    As long as she didnt see you get it as a gift. I would give it to her

    ditto and make sure it wasn't a gift from someone who might see her use it.

    make sure they are not going to be at the baby shower as well.
