Just curious since a friend of ours swears by it. I'm truly sceptical and could care less about the sex of the baby.
FYI for those that are drawing a blank, the Shettles Method is a way that explains when to have sex if you want to have either a boy or a girl. If you want a boy, have sex at ovulation or after and if you'd like to try for a girl, have sex 3 days before ovulation.
Of course, this friend says that it worked for her and we were just discussing it the other day when I told her that we were thinking of trying soon. Then, I saw a post on GP that kind of asked this question.
Thoughts?! IMO, we aren't planning the next PG like the first (checking CM, O, etc) and just would like it to happen when it does.
Happy Sunday!
Re: If you tried the Shettles Method, did it work for you?
Didn't use this method purposely either- but we had sex 3 days before I O'd and it was a girl. Maybe a coincidence... but next time I'll wait a few days later and see if we get a boy
Believe it or not....ditto this EXACTLY!
We did and it worked for us. There are other things besides just the timing of sex that go into the Shettles method. Some are quite extreme, but we did the timing, position and DH drank a mt dew before we got it on
BTW, I didnt really care about the sex but DH really wanted to try for a boy so we gave it a shot and it worked!
