DH actually went to franklin pierce college and still has friends out in the peterbourough/keene/jaffrey area.. this really is a neat concept.. though like pp i'm not sure i could do it... sadly i think i'm too anti-social for such a....social area?? hahaha..

i wish there were more sustainable/organic/awesome things on the eastern side of NH (specifically south eastern as it's so close to meeeee) or even the merrimack valley side of MA because i really feel kinda let down by my state sometimes just because of where i am... le sigh..

I couldn't do it because I'm incredibly anti-social. And DH just wouldn't do it because he likes his privacy.

My DH and I are currently planning a community like this. We have land in the Adirondacks in upstate NY and are going through the planning stages. Our homes will be post and beam construction with strawbale infill. We are big fans of cohousing.

we live in a condo now too but there aren't community 'let's eat together and hang together' type areas or anything.. i super like the farm idea though.. and peterborough is super cute too!!
