dumb question - showering + baby

All this time I've put baby in bouncer in the bathroom while I shower in the mornings. But she no longer likes the bouncer and needs more freedom for movement.

So - is it ok to leave her in her room under the playmat or in her crib with the mobile while I bring the monitor in the bathroom with me?

I know it's a dumb question, but what do you all do if the bouncer is out?

I think the crib is probably safer. My kid would be rolling all over if I had him on the playmat.

I decided to just start showering at night so DH can take him.

I have been brining DD in the bathroom with me in her carry all. I am not sure what I am going to do when she is too big for it. I may put her on a mat on the floor when I am in there.

I put DD in the swing or in the bouncer but if the bouncer were out I would just continue to use the swing. You could also put her in the crib or a pack and play if you have one. I don't leave DD alone on the playmat for very long anymore because she rolls everywhere.

the crib, pnp or swing..all in other rooms. Shower time is my time.

He is either in his crib with his aquarium on or in the bathroom on a playmat. Either works for us pretty well...

With your options I would have to say crib unless he's not really moving around yet. We can't leave DD on her playmat without looking at her for more than a minute now because she is moving too much. And, like you, DD is not so crazy about her bouncer anymore. I shower in the am when she is still sleeping and if she isn't then DH has to take her so I can shower!
