I was the *middle of the road* type kid. I was very athletic but my BF was the class Valedictorian (sp? Hehe) and several others who did not participate in sports.
I could hang out with anyone. I was flexible - still am
I was very musically-inclined (chorus, band, theatre, etc)... sort-of "smart" (did well with grades and such) but there were certainly smarter people there than me!

I was everything. I was on the tennis team, hung out with stoners (but never smoked pot myself or anything) and also had friends who were smarty pants, cheerleaders, "popular", etc. I don't know what I was but I got along with just about everybody.

In high school, I was a cheerleader. Have a great weekend.
I was a mix of everything, and was definitly a floater among groups.
I was an athlete (gymnastics and soccer). I was a cheerleader for a year and decided that was not for me, but had many friends in several different "groups"

Happy Friday. I missed all check in's this week here are my answers.
M: Yes, we have filed and sent in last week. Now the waiting game for the return.
W: This is hard because I loved both Super Marios Bros. and Duck Hunt. I was never good at Duck hunt but I did get to wear my dad's holster and pull the gun from my hip, I thought I was so cool.
F: I was a cheerleader until the 11th grade, when I quite the squad becasue my BFF and I thought we were better than the entire sqaud and they were making us look bad. How Vain. she and I still laugh about this and how embarassing.
I haven't been around in a while since I've been so swamped with the house-buying process. We will hopefully close in less than two weeks. I'm so excited to finally have space, and a room for the baby.
Monday QOTD: Are those taxes finished?? Yep, finished them last month.
Wednesday QOTD: What was your favorite childhood toy? Probably Teddy Rukspin, at least until my brother put his Metallica tape into it and then I thought the bear was possessed.

Hello, all! Had a rough night and not sure I like the Snoogle I just bought. We'll see if it was a waste of money or not, soon. Anyway, I'm just glad it's Friday!
As for the QOTD: In high school I was the arty type, I guess. I wasn't Miss Popular, but I had my group of friends and I took art classes (went to college for graphic design) and was involved in set design for the Fall plays and was often in the chorus for the Spring musicals.
I'm so glad that high school is LONG over because I don't like to be pigeon-holed and can be different types on different days.

I was a cheerleader in HS. I also did gymnastics.
I was a cheerleader but also played sports. I had a long term boyfriend who unfortunately was my social life...Lasted too long and ended up nowhere.
VENT::: You know how when you visit your OB and there are several drs in the office so you rotate between the drs in case one delivers for you. Well yesterday I had my 24 wk appt and I had to meet one of the "other" drs. He was so RUDE...NO manners. I pray he is not the one who delivers.
Should I say something to the my regular OB or jsut let it go.

Wow, a lot of cheerleaders here!
I am doing well - except for belly button pain. It's so weird.
I was the friendly girl and knew everyone. I didn't belong to a specific group, but rather hung out with everyone. I got invited to the cool kid parties, hung out with the stoners and talked to the geeks. Activity wise, I was the assistant editor on the yearbook and managed the boys swim team.
Friday QOTD: I was in everything related to fine arts. I loved every minute of it even though most people though we were "band geeks" lol.
Doing great today. I have to meet with a cardiologist next Friday for a consultation due to heart palpitations and high blood pressure! Really hoping it's nothing and trying to not worry!

Monday QOTD: Are those taxes finished?? Sadly my state return isn't done yet. I had to file for an extension. It's sad because I'm an accountant. I had time to everyone elses taxes but my own!

I did the federal ones in February and submitted them right away, and I did the state ones on Wednesday and still haven't filed them.
Though I looked into the "rules" for my state and I've actually got four years to file since the state owes ME money (a whopping nine dollars. Haha.)

Friday QOTD: Who were you in HS?
Long story. I was a very unlikely cheerleading captain. I tried out at the end of eighth grade for the high school squad, thinking I was making a statement because I was a brainy underachieving stoner kid with neon hair and punk-ish clothes, bound and determined to prove the system was discriminatory and that even though I'd kick ass (I had six years of Kajukenpo under my belt, so I was physically very ready) they'd never take me. And then they made me MVP each year and captain for three years.
I was friends with anybody that was friendly with me, focused a lot on my German classes (did the exchange student thing), and I'm pretty sure I slept through most of my senior year.

Cheerleader type; sporty; smart; etc? ?I didn't really go to a high school that labeled people like that ? pretty much everyone in my class was friends. ?I guess I was a "band nerd", but there were people in the band who also were cheerleaders, or played football or basketball, so it wasn't really a social divider. ?I was definitely the girl in all the AP and honors classes!

In highschool I was in the art crowd, but had friends in all circles. I was also Key Club pres. my senior year, which kind of makes me a nerd.
Except for some recent dizzy spells, things are going great so far. We are talking about a possible camping trip in early July, but we'll see.

hmm, in hs, i was kinda a mix. nhs and student body treasurer, but also on dance team and cheer. thankfully, my hs wasn't really into groups. i guess if i had to choose one, though, it would be the overachiever crowd. heck, i'm still in that group.

Monday QOTD: Are those taxes finished?? Yes, my DH actually finished early this year, we've already received our return, and now a huge chunk goes to flood and homeowners insurance. Then the rest will go toward's a new car, yea!
Wednesday QOTD: What was your favorite childhood toy? I played outside a lot as a child, so I guess I'd have to say my bike.
