We are going away this weekend and staying with friends at their house. I think I am going to use sposies because I don't want to not wash for three days (that and I don't have enough dipes for three days either). My reasoning is because this friend (who I love) said ew that's gross when I told her I was starting CDs. I don't think she'd be keen on me using her washing machine to wash them. Would you ask about it or just let it go and use the sposies? I don't want to annoy or gross them out.

Re: Going away this weekend WWYD?
you could always just ask to do laundry and "forget" to tell her they are CDs not regular clothes, heehee
I don't have a baby yet, so take this for what it's worth.
I would do sposies. (1) If I'm visiting a friend just for a weekend, I wouldn't want to be spending my time doing laundry. (2) I wouldn't want to press the issue with someone who wasn't comfortable. My BF definitely falls in the "ewwww" group. I know that she'd say I could use her washer, but then she'd be too grossed out to wash her clothes in it afterward.
You could bring your CDs and use them up, then switch to sposies. In the off-chance she invites you to use her washer, then problem solved. If not, you'll be using fewer disposables.
