Hi! None of you know me but I was told to come here because you ladies might know the answer for my question
My BFF just has a baby a week ago and she's having issues with bf'ing because she's not producing enough milk. Her sister told her to drink non-alcoholic beer b/c something in there (can't remember what exactly) helps. She;s not sure so I told her I would ask for her in here. Do any of you know what else can she do?
Thanks for your help!
Re: Breast feeding question
I'd first suggest to her to make sure she's drinking lots of water. Also pumping between feedings or before bed can help increase supply as well.
I've been drinking Mother's milk organic tea as well-it is to increase healthy lactation.
I've heard the beer thing as well. Although i've heard the darker beers are the ones that can increase supply. Guiness maybe
Tell her to call the La Leche League toll free helpline...
877 4 LALECHE...
there are well trained people there who can help her out.
I am the 99%.
Ok. Thanks!
