  it's dh's name (his parents wanted an irish name) and i can't stand it. it's very 70s/ early 80s to me.

  It's my brothers name- I really like it.  He is Shane Harper (1st name after the western 'Shane' and Harper after my great grandpa).

  I love that name!! Dh's brother is named Shane and I was so upset that we can't use it! His middle is Andrew. But Shane David is nice.
