Ugh, accidentally invited someone to be a FB friend - what do I do??

I was searching for a friend while on the phone and without realizing it, after she came up as unfound, I hit "invite this person to join facebook." Crap!! I don't want to be friends w/ her, she's a coworker, and I don't want to mix work with FB! What would you do??

***EDIT*** I'm pretty sure she does have a page b/c she's mentioned it...it just must be under a different email address.

once she accepts you, you can then delete her as a friend. ?She will not be notified. ?When she asks what is up, just tell her you have no idea that it must be a FB issue

Of course, knowing her she will be psyched I invited her and WANT to become friends, so saying that something was messed up w/ FB won't necessarily fix the situation. I'll probably just have to say that I don't want to mix work & FB.

well, she could always request again after you delete her, but if you don't accept it and don't ignore it, then she cannot do anything. ?Just tell her you never got her second request. ?I am so bad?

I'd do that but 1) it's a VERY small office and 2) she is a real people person so will probably talk to me about this in person, not over email. *groan*
