I tried putting her in her bouncy seat in the bathroom and she wasn't having it. Now she's in her swing, sound asleep, and I'm stuck here on the couch! (trying to reach silver status)
thats the only way I can ever shower. i have the video monitor on him so i can watch from the bathroom. can you put the monitor next to her so at least you can hear if she wakes up? or just go shower, she will be fine.
Just use the monitor. I was never comfortable leaving him unattended in his swing, but I used to sleep while he was in there, so I don't see the difference. Now, he likes to sit up in there, so I don't sleep or leave him or anything.
She IS strapped in, right? If so, she'll be fine. Enjoy your shower!
Wheee!

Re: how can I shower if LO is asleep in her swing?
The answer to your question: quickly.I showered all the time while M was asleep in her swing!
I'll try to say this nicely.
You take your clothes off and get in the shower. This is the perfect time. She's not going anywhere.
That is the only way I can usually get a shower.
Go shower.
Mommas Little Yankee Fan!

lol! Thanks everyone for reassuring me that she won't flail about and fall out. (yes, I'm paranoid)?
First, you turn on the faucet.
Then you take off your clothes.
Step into the shower.
Apply shampoo. Rinse.
Apply soap. Rinse.
Step out of the shower.
Towel dry.
Get dressed.
See? It's easy.
