Babies: 0 - 3 Months

I wish there was a size between 0-3 and 3-6.

Kelsey is too long for her 0-3 month sleepers now so I cleaned out her pj drawer and put 3-6 in there.  I put one of them on her tonight and it is HUGE!  She is very slender but long.  I think she is on the 80th percentile for her length but only the 40th for her weight so she is just a skinny minnie at this point.  I just wish they made 0-3LONG or something for babies like her.  Grr.

I should make my own baby clothes and get rich that way.

  • We have the same problem! And Hazel's not slender, she's just longer than average now, I think. Your idea is a good one: big and tall for babies. :)

  • Amen!! ?DD is in 0-3 sleepers but the same size pants literally fall off her bum. ?Slender but long. ?:( ?I'll buy your clothes!
  • Have you tried different brands of sleepers? I've found that 0-3 clothes vary depending on which brand they are. DS fits in most of his 0-3 clothes now, but he still has 3 or 4 outfits that are just too long right now.
  • agreed. DD is 75th percentile height and 25 percentile weight so she outgrows them lengthwise wayyyy before she reaches the weight limit.

    proud mommy!
  • i would buy them if you make them.  shane is 20th in weight and 60th on length.

  • we're in the same boat!  we have a couple of "3 month" sized terrycloth outfits from Kohls that are Carter's brand.  these are the ONLY ones that work right now!  they aren't 0-3 or 3-6, they just say "3 month" on the tag.  i'd give that a shot if you can, we're thankful we have them!

  • I feel the same way.  DD is way too long for the 0-3 sleepers but she's just too thin for the 3-6.  Tonight I just put her in a long sleve onsie instead of a sleeper.  I might have to do that until she fills out to fit them!
  • The single month sized clothes are supposed to be the in-between. 3 Months, between 0-3 and 3-6, 6 Months between 3-6 and 6-12, etc...
  • ITA!

FWIW, though, you could get some onesie extenders ... they generally get us through the "inbetween" stage when he's too big for one size, but not quite ready for the next.

  • we have the same problem.. but with preemie and newborn. my girl is going to be tall!
