Just wondering what qualifies one as having enough experience?
Seriously though, I had 2 c-sections both totally different experiences and recoveries...if anyone has questions.

I've stalked you both sufficiently so I know your stories!
But at this point, anybody that has an outside baby can give advice IMO - I'll readily admit to being scared sh!tless about taking care of a newborn and will probably have a million stupid questions in a few days

how were the c-s so different? my first was after being induced & no progress & I am scheduled for another with #2
any advice after a c-section w/ a toddler too?
The worst part of both sections was the pressure on my ribcage and how rough they are when pulling the baby out. I felt assaulted and the 2nd time I thought they would break a rib. The fear walking into the OR, I cried both times. The vomiting for hours after.
My first recovery was a breeze with dermabond. My 2nd with staples was hell and I got a UTI, and had internal bruising on my ribs because J was engaged and it was harder to get her out. DH was all about our toddler and I was all baby. It was the only way we survived. I did sit on the floor and let C play around me so she was not totally away from me. And she came up to my bed for stories and quiet time.

Okay so obviously you just wanted to post that about what qualifies you....you just said you could not care less....so you apparently wanted a reaction otherwise if you didn't care...you wouldn't have said it....To each its own! write what you want ...you proved the point
I figure I'll be the same way...all baby and DH be w/ our 2 yr old...I had staples last time & was shocked when they ripped them out before I left the hospital.
I kept feeling like my ute was going to fall out so I bought a belly bandit so I hope that helps.
PS-- I have a 2 yr old and still like 0-6 input...you forget a lot, outta sight outta mind

No, I do not want to be cocky, I was poking fun at the earlier garbage. POKING FUN. And yes there is such a thing here on the bump. There are may terms that are used here that are not IRL. I am answering questions because I thought 2 under 2 might have some value because it did for me when I was in the 3rd tri...ugh, why am I bothering...

2 under 2! Wow you have your hands full, your kids are gorgeous.
I do have a question, is there anything you wish you had asked your Dr prior to either surgery? I'm very nervous about the catheter, recovery etc and he knows, he does calm me down well, I just don't know what to ask having never been through it before.

What is wrong with you? Serious non cocky question. And no I did not state it in a cocky manner. It was in a tone of mockery if you need that to be spelled out for you. Okay I have to get my toddler out of the bath so enough already.

You turned nothing into something and are so far off base it is pathetic. Gain a sense of humor before you come to 0-6. There is a ton of sarcasim over there and if you do not get it, can't laugh at yourself or poke fun at others, it is not the board for you. Infact the entire bump is not for you.
I had a c-section with my first. My stitches were dissolved after about a month. I can't believe they still use the staple method. I would be terrified as well knowing that there was an incision there previously; that it would be stapled again and tugged out viciously! Sorry am not trying to scare you but I know how it feels to have a c-section-just trying to relate.
I do have a question though-I noticed that most of the ladies here who has had a previous c-section are going for a repetitive one-why is that? Do you find it easier or an option was not available?
I am hoping (fingers crossed) for a VBAC. I am trying and doing everything possible-only time will tell though
