Help DD will not nap!
DD refuses to take nap during the day for the last week. When she gets tired I try to put her down and she either lays awake or cries. Most of the time she gets almost asleep then she wakes up and cries she can do this for a hour or so. When she does fall asleep its for 20 maybe 30 mins. I have tried swaddling, feeding her, rocking her, car ride all the tricks and nothing works. She goes to bed at 830 sometimes takes 1 hour to fall asleep and wakes up only twice to eat once at 330am and then at 630. She does sleep from about 9-9 Im not complaining about her night time sleep I just want her to nap so she feels better in the evening. She d get very fussy at the end of the day b/c she has not slept. She has only taken 2 naps to day which total1 hour of sleep. I also do not have a good nap routine I take her to bed turn on the TV to the classical music channel close the blind changer her diaper place her in her bassinett rub her forehead or belly and when shes drowsy with her eyes closed I leave the room sometimes I give her a paci if shes fussing. Do you ladies have any thoughts as to how to get her to sleep and to stay asleep longer and maybe a better nap routine so she knows its nap time.Do you think she sleeps to long at night? Do you think there is something wrong with her?

My son has been doing the same thing this week! I just noticed that they are the exact same age. I am wondering if it's just a phase or something. He will eventually sleep in the car or if I am holding him, though. He took a good nap today, so maybe this will pass soon for you.
