F/u to trouble latching last night

I saw that someone else had asked the same question.  I was having to pump because DD had a big weight loss and they were wanting to monitor her intake.  I've been given the okay to start her back on the breast, but she would latch on, suck a couple times, and then give up.  I visited the LC while I was in the hospital last night and she gave me some sugar water.  A couple drops directly on the breast and DD started bf like a champ.
