bumbo seat
anyone use this? my girlfriend says her daughter loves it! when do you start using it...how many months??

We started using it between 3-4 mos. when DS had better head/trunk control. He loves it...it allows him to sit up and see things from a different perspective (without being held, or standing in another device!).
We just bought the tray yesterday for it and I really like it too!
You can start putting them in it when they have good head control. We put him in at 2.5 months, but he really didnt like it, or tolerate being in it very long. He is just now starting to enjoy it. We put him in it on the table while we eat, and on the floor with his toys around him
I remember the first time we ever put my older DC in the bumbo. She was about 5 months old and she had what I can only describe as pride on her face. She just looked so pleased and proud to be sitting with us. (I know she was far too young to actually feel pride, but that's honestly how she looked.) She loved it from the moment we put her in it.
With DC#2, I think he will be ready for it around 3 months or so. (DC#1 probably would have been fine in it earlier, but I didn't hear about Bumbos until she was older)
