I said I would NEVER do it, and yet I do

co-sleep, that is.  We've co-slept a total of 3 times and last night was one of them.  Stasa fell asleep in my lap (after a TON of nursing), but woke up when I tried to swaddle her.  So I just snuggled her in bed and we both PTFO.  I woke up once to nurse her and then didn't wake up until 9:30 and she was still sleeping.

    L refuses to co-sleep.  i've actually tried to bring her into bed and she will not have it.  she prefers her swing and carseat ::sigh::

    Ahhh so did I. I've done alot of things I said I would never do. ?I've let him sleep next to me and Dh in the bed, sleep in the boppy in the bed, sleep on stomach....eh... you do what you gotta do.

    I said I would NEVER do it either..but we do, every morning after his 4am feeding. Its just so much easier to nurse him in bed with me, and he sleeps longer.

    Me too!  It is the only way my DD will sleep.  We borrowed a co-sleeper thing from a friend that goes between us in bed.  It lets me sleep better b/c I don't have to worry about either of us rolling on top of her, and it makes nursing in the middle of the night sooooo easy!

    I usually have DS sleep in his crib, but sometimes I just jones for him and have to pick him up and take him into bed with me for a while.  I won't sleep with him in bed because we have a queen and there's not enough room for me, DS and my crazy ass sleeping DH.  I'm afraid DH will steamroll over or punch out DS in his sleep, so co-sleeping all night isn't even an option.

    Yup, I've done it many times too.  We don't do it all night anymore, but usually she wakes up around 6 or 7 and after I nurse her I let her sleep on my chest until 9 or so, just so I can get more sleep.
