one of my girlfriends had this happen to her last month. it started opening on one side and oozing a tiny bit. the doc just cleaned it, put steri strips on it and said nothing to worry about... shes fine now.
I just had one of my stitches coming through. It looked like it was infected and open but he pulled the stitch out and it was fine the next day. Don't know if that helps at all.
This happened to me with DD. It was open a bunch. I went into the office and they showed me how to clean it. I had to pack it with some gauze and clean with peroxide twice a day. My Mom had to come do it because I could not see it...or bend and my husband would not do it. It is important to keep it clean. They could not close it on the top because it was best for it to heal from the inside out. I hope call your Dr.

I've already been to the doctor and that is what they are having me do. I am really worried about it getting infected, but they checked for infection yesterday and it wasn't. It's open for about 2 inches. I go back next week to get it checked again.
Re: C-section incision opening
Yeah I cringed a little when I read this.
OMG....this post makes me want to go look in the mirror to make sure mine is still completely intact. lol.
I would imagine its not that big of a deal though. Nothing that a couple of sterile strips from the doc. wouldnt take care of. Good luck.
