I'm pretty average sized (sz 10 pp) and I have only gotten a very small bump so far. In fact in some clothes, I don't even look pregnant. The other day I went to the hair salon and my stylist was looking at my u/s pics. As I was leaving her next client came in as we were still chatting and looking at the pics. She asked how far along I was, and when I told her 30 weeks she looked surprised (a reaction I've gotten used to), but then she procedes to say "Well, you must be carrying the baby in your behind, because you don't have much of a belly!" I almost started laughing! I mean seriously... who says something like that? Guess I have a big booty?

I am very short with a short torso, so I am carrying straight out. The other day a coworker said "so you are due pretty soon, right? Oh you still have 14 weeks? You are huge! You will have a big chubby girl like me then." Nevermind DH and I both weighed 7lbs 5oz when we were born.

"You're beginning to look chubby!" - from MIL when I was 18 weeks pregant.

I'm also quite amazed at how many people ask how much weight I've gained. It's never put with a negative comment, they just ask like it's an appropriate thing to ask a woman, a very pregnant woman.

"I knew you were having a girl because girl's always steal their mother's beauty!"-friend wow, so i'm fat and ugly.

2 DAYS post partum from previous pregnancy : "Your belly is still big. Are you sure you don't have any more babies in there?"-my sister

I hardly ever post...(the queen of lurking), so I am not even sure I am doing this right but I'll give it a try casue I have the ultimate comment...back in feb. one of my customers said to me (casue we don't know the sex) "you must be having a girl....cause they say girls suck the beauty from the mother" I was speechless......
