Drum Roll Please...

So, I broke down and POAS this morning. I figured, if it was bad news I wanted to see DH and talk about it before my beta and not call him over the phone. If it was good news, I wanted to see his face.?

We decided I would test in the am. If it was a BFN, we would try not to loose it until we got confirmation from the beta. If it was a BFP, we would be cautiously optimistic until the beta confirmed it.

Well, put me in the optimistic camp because I got a BFP!

The line started to appear clear as day after I took the test. I jumped back in bed with DH and asked him if he wanted to see it...he is going to be a daddy! He smiled very sleepily and said good. (It was 5:15am after all). I think he just wants to be sure with the beta and so do I.?

We are both happy, but I don't want to totally believe it until we get those beta numbers. Right now, it feels like a dream.

I will update my blog when it really feels real, but I wanted to share the pics I have here:

My appointment is at 8:30am (I am in CA) and we should get the results this afternoon.

The RE freaked us out and told us over and over again not to take a home test, so I wanted until today so I would not have to wait days to get confirmation.

I can't believe that it may have worked! ?
