While he was rubbing he said, "You know, I always dreamed you'd ask me to rub your ass but in that dream, it was far more sexual than this. & you weren't screaming in pain."
LOL.... if it makes you feel any better I had DH do the back of my legs and he said "what is this dimple" I about back handed him so fast he ducked. Then I started crying and his response was "I thought it was just the way you were sitting" LOL
Did it help? I tried sleeping with an icy hot patch glued to my ass last night. Seemed to provide at least a bit of very temporary relief (or, at least distraction from the pain) so I could get to sleep.
Might have to ask for a little massage action tonight.
I told DH I wanted a massage the other day, and he came home with some battery operated bug device, put it on my back and said "does that help". He just does not get it some times. He's good for ice cream runs though, so I see it as a trade off.
Have your tried a chiropractor? (some of them have massage therapists in the office with them--although your husband may be disappointed) I had really bad problems with my sciatic nerve during my first pg and the chiropractor was the only way I could even manage to walk.
Also, somebody posted the other day that they were going to physical therapy for theirs and it had worked wonders--plus their insurance covered the whole thing.

This is the next step if the new shoes don't help (I've been wearing my regular heels, but it's time to put those away).
I need to talk to my insurance & see what they cover!
Re: I made Nate rub my ass last night.
Sorry you are in pain.
I love having my butt rubbed as part of a massage from husband. As a matter of fact, I got a piece of that action last night.
Slept like a baby...for once!
Have you tried a heating pad or anything? I'm sure you have, I just know that always helps my aches and pains.
Butt rubs to relieve that nerve are the greatest. I now have to get butt rubs in doggy style position because I can't lay on my stomach.
tried a heating pad, tried tylenol.
I'm going to go invest in a pair of good shoes that have Nike Air in them.
No clue!! I should get like, a medal...or something? A ticker-tape parade? Blair Day on the bump?

Good shoes do help. I spent some good $$ on high-end Nikes and they do help when I know I'm going to be on my feet a lot.
Jealously is a terrible thing.
