Glorified babysitter... oh I'm sorry, babysitters get paid more than me. I'm a middle school music teacher.
wife to joe 2.2.08. mama to noah 9.5.09.
After multiple m/c's, a MTHFR diagnosis and the Lord calling both of our hearts in the same direction, we're adopting! theluckiest
I'm a talent manager at a fortune 500 company. This basically covers all of the performance management and organizational development components of HR.
Legal Contract Advisor - Basically my team and I go over all agreements between us and customers. It's a pretty easy job, except for when it comes to government contracts.
Baker for a few small restaurants in the area. I hope to move into this more while out for maternity leave.
Sales and Marketing director for an Assisted Living Facility. Love my job because I can create my own schedule, however it also stinks because sales in general right now are hard....which means bonuses aren't great
A full time student studying business management! I work 20hrs/wk @ a fitness club in the kids room/front desk for a little extra shopping $$! And I don't have the official title bc we aren't married but I'm a step mommy to a 7 year old boy (I count it bc I clean all his clothes, make his lunch every morning, check his HW, etc.) My parents also pay me for me to drive 3 hrs each way once a month to do a little yard work on their vacation home while they live in the caribbean for 3 more years. I am currently building a baby & am a financial advisor to my BF (yeah, I cut his monthly expenses by almost 400$ and we don't notice a difference in quality of life!)
Night receptionist at a local furniture store. Hoping to get promoted soon, but I'm afraid I'm going to get looked over because I'll be going on mat. leave right around the time the new position would start... so we'll see...
Countdown to Baby H! Mommy to Elizabeth (6/18/09), preemie at 34 weeks
I have worked on Cruise Ships for 12 years - started out as a singer and am now a Port and shopping guide ( I help people buy diamonds in the Caribbean!) Am taking some time off now and am looking forward to being a stay at home Mommy for a while!
I'm a Sales Administrative Assistant...which basically means that I sit at a desk all day....answer phones, type quotes for salespeople, fax or email quotes for salespeople...play on the computer...and be BORED!
I am a full time student working towards becoming a middle school math/science teacher. I also am working part time for my uncle's company as a receptionist. I was an orthodontic assistant (and LOVED it) until I had to quit because of my hours at school.
I'm a trader on Wall Street. I've written one book and am finishing up two more. I'm also also a PhD student in Finance/Statistics.
Oh, and I volunteer at a pet shelter, coach girls' running and just sold my own company in October.
It's people like you who make me feel like a failure...hahahaha.
Thanks, I think. I mostly just like to compete with my husband to see who can make more money each year. I win every year...except maybe this one only because he started his own business last year, which is counter-cyclical and has huge cash flows. I'm jealous but proud, I guess.
I'm the Member Services Manager at a local trade association. We're a local chapter of the National Association of Home Builders. I handle our events and education.
I am a victim specialist inside a government's office. I help prosecute crimes, mainly sexual assaults. I have an MBA and seriously don't know how I have been doing this for over five years. If we move due to DH job I might become a teacher or use the MBA.

I am a full time PhD student studying learning disabilities (before that I taught for 7 years). Stay tuned: We can all watch me attempt to finish a dissertation with an infant.

Engineering Associate w/ a Telcom Co -- but hate it ..
I used to be the Director of Supervised Living (basically, ran a collection of group homes for adults with developmental disabilities).
I quit to be a SAHM, but now I do some private duty home health care overnights, so I can be with DD during the day and not have to pay for daycare.
