made my first call to poison control!!

my daughter was grabbing at one of my floor plants so i moved it out of her reach, not realizing that there was an ant trap behind it...i ran to the bathroom and came back to her chewing (!) on the trap!! i panicked, ran her over to the sink and stuck her face under the faucet and then washed her hands...

called poison control and they told me that there really wasn't anything to worry about but if she starts throwing up or anything strange to call them back...

phew!

    scary!  I have already called about ant traps when my little dog ate one....  really the biggest concern there is if they break off a piece of the plastic and swallow that.  I would have freaked too though!

    I'm glad she's ok! I would have freaked out!

    I remember our 1st call to poison control like it was yesterday...it took us 15 minutes to find the number. We have it programmed into our phones now.
