Ever since ttc I have been on a roller coaster with alcohol and caffeine. At first I cut it out completely, then I would just have it before O and when AF showed back up. My OB at the time thought that might be setting my body off and that I shouldn't worry just everything in moderation -- I was light on both anyhow. So on non-treatment cycles I would have some the entire cycle and lighten up in the 2ww. Now that I am in my first treatment cycle I am back on the wagon for the entire cycle. Just curious what everyone elses viewpoints are...
Re: Alcohol/Caffeine
I dont drink, so thats not hard for me. Caffeine on the other hand is a diffrent story. When we did IVF in oct. I quit cold turkey, and I am a coffee every morning kinda girl.
Now I will just have a 1/4-1/2 a cup in the mornings and a occasional soda, so I have very limited intake of caffeine.

TTC Journey Over~ Not By Choice
When in an IVF cycle, I give up drinking alcohol. ?When not in an IVF cycle, I have 2-3 drinks per week.
I have decaf coffee and an occasional soda when I am cycling. ?I come way under the caffeine limits for pregnant women, so I am not really worried about it.?
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
I have a cup of coffee each morning and about 4-5 drinks/week. My RE never said anything about alcohol or caffeine.
I feel my consumption is moderate and it's my PCOS that preventing me from getting pregnant, not the occasional glass of wine.
