Injectable IUI girls

God, sorry to be asking so many questions today...

The nurse just called me back and said that more than likely I will still take 50mg of clomid along with Follistim on CD 3,4,8&10 or something like that. I was really trying to get out of using clomid again because of the hot flashes, but it looks like I might be screwed again.

Did you do a combination of clomid/femera & injects? How did you respond?

    Hey Lisa.  I did tamoxifen with follistim.  I was a slow responder, but I had 3 mature follies at trigger (although I didn't trigger until CD 17 for a CD 19 IUI).  Good luck this cycle! :)

    Sorry, I have only ever been on Gonal F. I totally skipped clomid. Sorry you have to go back on it since you dislike it.

    I did a combo of Femara and Menopur. I produced just 1 follie from that cycle but it matured much faster than when I was on Clomid.

    I have done 2 cycles of Femara + Gonal F. ?The RE said we could get better quality follies and it would help with lining issues. ?Last cycle I had one mature follie at 23 and one trailing at 15 when I triggered on CD 9. ?I responded quickly, but I always do. ?I only have 25 day cycles. ?I figure we will try this for a few more rounds, then do a few rounds of straight injectables.?

    I have done 2 cycles of Clomid + Menopur.  The first cycle on that combo I produced 2 follies at 22mm and 17mm, but O'd on cd22 (late as I usually do when on meds).  But, this cycle I produced 2 follies at 20mm and 17mm and got my trigger shot on cd15.

    I have done 2 cycles of Femara and Follistim and both times produced a few mature follicles. Good Luck!!!!!
