IKEA has some super cute stuffed animals. Eve has a little orange stripped kitty that she loves. He's been just the right size for her to carry around since about 6 months. She was also given a black cat for her birthday. The two kitties go everywhere. I think she attached so well b/c of our cats at home.

If it doesn't need to be a doll/animal, Whole Foods has these super soft 'tag' blankets for about $10. It is a blanket with tags all around the edges (since that's the part babies love most). N loves to snuggle with it in the stroller.

Have 3 of them. One for her crib, one for day care and a spare (just in case...)

My friend had 7 small size Peter Rabbits just in case her son loses it and also to have one for him when he grows up that's in box.
