Can't call my mom

in 3rd Trimester

Everytime I call my mom or even call my dad she freaks out.  She will see I called my dad and call back asking, "What's wrong?"  She even answers the phone this way.  She is normally a calm and controlled person.  Mom was my labor coach with DD and did awesome no freak out moments.  But now she is freaking out!!

So I am going to avoid calling her for the next 4 days until Thursday.

    Haha, I'm afraid of this happening with my mom. She's a nut case anyway! I think we'll call everyone AFTER the baby is born.

    Everytime DH calls my IL's, my MIL says "Are you at the hospital?  Are the babies here?!"

    MIL, you have caller id.  If we are calling you from the house, it isn't very lilkely we're at the hospital or that the babies are here yet!

    I called my mom yesterday and she answered the phone by saying "are you in labor" i calmly said no so she hung up on me lol. She called me back and said she hates when I call and aren't having a baby.

    I had this happen when I called the parent of a student once...

     

    The mom answered the phone, "OMG what happened??? IS she ok?'

     

    Yea, she's fine...just calling to tell you she's doing really well in my class...
