anyone use Kirkland diapers?

Hi everyone -

We just purchased a membership at Costco and I was wondering if anyone out there has used the Kirkland brand diapers with your other kids? What do you think?

Thanks!

Re: anyone use Kirkland diapers?

  • i've been told by moms on the board that they are really great in the larger sizes, but not for newborn. They're supposedly really good for when they are moving around and crawling, etc... So that's the knowledge I have to pass down! :)

ETA:: you may wanna post or XP this on the older baby boards... 0-6 or 6-12 just to get more opinions. :)

  • I had someone recommend against them because the tabs rip off easily when you are putting the diapers on.  Never tried them myself though.

  • My sister has a 6 month old and she does.
  • Eh...they are just ok. I wouldn't use them for a newborn. We used Swadlers for ds and that was it. The rest of them didn't seem to compare...

  • I don't like them at all.  As soon as they get slightly wet, they expand like crazy and get all big and bulky.  Plus, if they get really wet, they start disintegrating and fall apart.
  • we have used them since DS fit into the size 1-2 and LOVE them. they work great for him.... but it all depends on your child how they'll fit, etc.

the only time we use other diapers is if i find a great deal on clearance.  Make sure to price out diapers by the diaper - not the case- since they all have different quantities in them, esp as you go up sizes.  Kirkland comes out to about .20c per diaper- which is the cheapest i have found other than clearance boxes of other types (i have found at .14c per diaper).

i tried walmart and target brands and did not like them at all... we stick with kirkland.  I also  love that they don't have Disney crap all over them - i can't stand that marketing.

We do use huggies overnights  for night time - but didn't have to use thoes until DS was about a year old.
