Question inregards to OB appointments

Hello third tri ladies! I?ll soon be joining you in two weeks and although this will be my fourth pregnancy it?s been 10-years and I?m a little rusty in how everything goes when it comes to appointments.

My question is? starting your third tri how often do you see your OB now? I?ve read every two weeks until your 36-weeks and then every week beyond that. Is this true? And when does your OB start checking you vaginally?

For non-high risk patients at the clinic I go to, you start biweekly at 28 weeks and weekly at 35 weeks. They start internals at 35 weeks.

My doc starts apts every two weeks at 32 wks for healthy pregnancies and starts weekly at 36 wk. I think "normal" is to start biweekly apts at 28 weeks.

I went every 4 weeks until 35w, then at 37w, 38w, 39w, 40w and (hopefully not necessary) have an appt at 41w.

I started my two week appointments at 32 weeks and will start the weeklies at 36.

Oh - and my Dr starting checking my cervix around week 25 - I think because I was having pans. But they have done it every time since. I don't think its the same as an "internal" but he keeps telling my that my cervix is still closed.

Sounds right to me. Internals started at my first one week appointment if I remember correctly - it was 35.5 weeks.
