Which diaper is best for crawlers?

We currently use Huggies natural fit diapers, but I notice that they ride down in the back when DD really gets moving.  Are Pampers any better?  Cruisers or Baby Dry?  We had problems with Pampers containing up the back blow outs, so we switched to Huggies.  Now i am not sure what to buy next and I need to buy diapers tomorrow.  The size 3s fit snugly, but I know going up to size 4 will not work for her yet.  Any ideas?

  • The Cruisers are made for crawling, so I would recommend those over BabyDry for crawling.  However, I just work there, I haven't used them yet.  The Cruisers also have more absorbancy.

  • We use the Baby Dry for Leah since we already had a lot of them from our shower. They have worked fine and we've had no leaks and she's all over the place! I would have gotten Cruisers if I could have picked, I suppose.

  • We had the same issue with Pampers and switched to Huggies Snug and Dry.  I like the fit much better than the natural fit diapers, isn't that weird?  Anyway, I had issues with Justin when he moved into size 3's and tried Pampers Cruisers and Baby Dry, Target, Walmart, and both kinds of Huggies.  I LOVE the Snug and Dry.  We actually went up to a size 4 in those when he was 7 months old and then moved up to a size 5 at about 12 months.  He's still in a 5 now at 20 months.  How much does Brenna weigh?  I think the Snug and Dry run a little bit small, so a size 4 might work for her.

  • Katie-I am guessing 20 pounds.  She has not been weighed since her visit at 6 months.  She was just shy of 18 pounds then.  She has a tubby tummy, so we have never followed the weight guidelines because they never fit her for the duration of the weight limits.  I might get a small pack of snug n dry in size 4 to see if it helps.  The way things are now, I see huge messes on the horizon with her little half moon hanging out while she crawls the house.  Funny how things change so quickly!

  • Pampers Cruisers have always worked like a charm for us.
  • Once I was done BFing and Ava's poo wasn't as messy, I started using generic diapers--Target brand to be exact, although I have used the Kroger Comforts brand too.  Both have worked fine for us, but the Target is less bulky I think.  To me the Target brand diapers that we use are very comparable in the way that they feel/absorb to Pampers Baby Dry.  Cruisers are nice diapers, but my generic diapers absolutely do the trick and fit Ava well so I don't care to spend the extra $ on them.  That being said, before you switch diaper brands, you might be interested to know that Target has Huggies for $28.99 right now for a 126 pack that includes a pack of wipes.  Seems like a good deal for someone who likes Huggies.  I noticed them tonight when I was picking up our Target diapers.
