we JUST finished the room and I still feel like I have so much to do..like wash baby clothes, open up all the boxes of gear, clean closets, etc...what's left on your to-do list???
(We are moving the week after he arrives, so I dont have a nursery to do yet. All the clothes are washed and packed into storage totes. Toys are washed, bag is packed. All we need is the baby!)
We're ready enough, but what I still need to do is take the dog to the vet for a complete checkup, buy batteries for all of those swings/bouncers/vibration things, notarize our will, and I'm sure a few other things...
All in all, if he comes today, we're fine.

My list of stuff to do is kind of short I think...
Fold last load of baby laundry I did last night, put in the car seat, buy the rest of my stash of CD's, and make some freezable dinners. Oh and I have to pack my hospital bag still.
Re-install the car seat (I think its in wrong) and get it checked, buy breast pump stuff, buy a swing and a monitor, pack my bag, get the house squeaky clean, and some other small to-do's. I also have a lot to accomplish at work before I'd feel "ready" for maternity leave.
Nothing baby related! Just finish a paper for grad school, and finish my thank you's from the shower (well, I guess that's baby related). I want to give the house a good cleaning one more time too.
We still need to clean up our office/guest bedroom, clean our floors in the living room, clean our garage and install car seats. Other than that, we are done, waiting and excited. I think we are potentially being a little crazy, we are hosting Easter at our house, and I will only have 10 days to go at that point, but we figured what could it hurt? So, nicely EVERYTHING should be perfectly clean before our little peanut arrives.

Working on Miracle #2
When the world says "give up."
Hope whispers"Try one more time"
Wash and iron the curtains, put new batteries in smoke detectors, buy batteries for baby stuff and set up the PnP, bouncer and swing. Oh and pack hospital bag. All of which will hopefully be done by Monday so then I can relax!
do our taxes and get car seat inspected this weekend (yikes), get swing/hats/mittens, hang room decor (which I guess we can technically do after she comes), and finish making the diaper bag. Other than that, I think it is all either done or not needed immediately. Laundry is done, bag is packed, pack'n'play for basinette is ready. I don't have the bottles cleaned yet, but I don't know that I need them right away since I hope to BF.
Re: 36+ weekers..what is left to do?

1) Pack a bag
2) Go into labor
(not necessarily in that order...)

LOTS!
1. Make sure that my sub is officially hired through my district (who keeps dragging their feet on getting it done quickly!).
2. Tie up all lose ends at school and finish fitness testing.
3. Pack.
4. Get more diapers and wipes.

Everything is done. I just need my water to break or something.
