I have the Pocket Fetal Doppler off Ebay. Just under $100. The ones in BRU and stuff are cheaper and don't pick up sounds until much later, I've heard.
I have the Hi Bebe that I ordered from Amazon for about $115 and I love it. I've been able to hear the hb since I got it which was at 12 weeks Only downside is my DH wont go to my regular appts with me now because he said all they do is hear the hb and he does it at home!
I have the Hi Bebe from Amazon. Around $100. It works great! In retrospect, not a necessary purchase at all, but I got it as a Christmas present. It was really fun at first (before I could feel the baby). And it's exciting to be able to show the grandparents the heartbeat!
I was not sure if I should buy or rent, DH opted to rent. We are renting ours from bellybeats.com for $25 a month. We received it on Friday and have used it for both sets of our parents (2 times total). We really like it an are happy we decided to move forward with renting/getting one.
