Zoo question

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has participated in the wild wheels program at the zoo (the stroller program), and what they thought of it? 

I am a new SAHM and I think we need to get out more (bad case of cabin fever),but I'm not sure what to go do.  None of my friends in town have children yet, so they wouldn't be much help.  I am also new to posting on the forums. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Smile

    This sounds fun, and the zoo just got a Red Panda! Do you have any more info on this?

    This is kind of an indirect answer, but I would try Meetup.com

    There are tons of mommy groups on there. I found my playgroup that way (well, also through a friend's referral)  and have made many lifelong friends for myself & my daughter that way.  It's a great way to get out of the house and meet like-minded mamas in your area.

    More info: it is once a week Tuesdays or Thursdays starting at 9:15. I think we will go today and check it out as long as the weather is nice.

    Thank you CallMeKel, I will try that.  I should have started looking while I was pregnant but I was busy working, and didn't think I would actually want to get out much.
