I was wondering if you have tried aquaphor for your nipples? It is the ONLY thing that helped me, and mine were bleeding and crusty.  I tried two types of lanolin and it didn't touch it. They literally healed in a day with aquaphor.

    my ob actually wrote me a prescription for newman's nipple cream...but not all pharmacies can fill it cuz its a compound...but blue ridge pharmacy does. It helped my nips out a lot!!

    I've been on Newman's Nipple Cream, and was just on a different anti-bacterial ointment. Tomorrow I'm starting a new anti-fungal cream. I have a huge crack (like half of the top of my nip is gone) that is infected. They thought it was thrush so I couldn't use things like lanolin or aquaphor, since the yeast will feed on the moisture. But now they aren't sure what the heck is going on. I may have to go see a dermatologist to get a culture. All that I know is that I am in SO much pain - this is worse than labor. Crying

    Thanks for the suggestions, I'll keep them in mind!
