Battery Park City Moms

Hey - I am moving to BPC in about a month - area is definite, we just still haven't settled on an apartment yet. (Hopefully this week!) I don't know anyone that lives downtown and was wondering if you could recommend playgroups/mommy and me classes/places to eat/etc. I'm a stay at home mom and my son is 8 months old. Any advice would be great! Thanks in advance.

Can you tell me how you went about finding an apartment in Battery Park City. We are expecting our first in Nov. and are moving before then. We definitely wanted to check out that area!
