had my 1st internal today. It wasn't too bad, but there was no progress. ZERO! And then the doc is still not convinced that he/she is head down. So, I have an ultrasound on Thursday just to see. And then if it's not then we'll have to start talking about c-sections and/or other options. I'm super bummed cause I really thought that our baby was in the right position.
I've been trying to naturally get this baby to spin (spinning babies, advice from here, etc.) and doesn't seem as though any of it's worked. I'm still not sure that I was to get a version done since it's not necessarily guaranteed, but I'm almost at the point where I want to at least give it a shot to avoid c-section. I just really didn't want to schedule a c-section (more of a last resort). UGH...I'm just venting....
Thanks for listening...

Aw, bummer
I'm sorry!
It looks like I will end up with a C section based on what the drs have been saying, but we have an ultrasound Friday to check size and position, and he wants to give my body a chance to try and progress on its own. As of now, I still have no effacement/dilation, and the baby hasn't even dropped yet. So frustrating, I feel your pain!
Right now she thinks the head is still at my belly button sticking out there. But my u/s Thursday will tell for sure. And my doc is of the mentality that we'll just talk about the options once we see more. I'm sure if I schedule the c-section, but then by the time we get to that date if he/she has rotated then we'll go naturally.
Yeah, I've definitely not dropped either; no effacement, no dilation, no NOTHING. Still locked up!
you are only 37 weeks. 40 weeks is a little ways away still. the baby may change positions.
my hospital won't even let my dr sched a c/s untill atfer 39 w.
