I hope no one minds me posting here....
For those of you who have had success with IVF, I was wondering how many embryos you have frozen? I am in the dreaded 2ww of my 1st IVF and we have two frozen.
You always hear that people are worried about having too many left over embryos and I wanted to get a better sense of the reality. TIA!
Re: How many do you have frozen?
You're in your 2ww???!!! When is your beta?? I really hope this works for you!!!
I'm really not the person to ask because I have a ton leftover. Instead of doing a FET after IVF#2, we stored those embryos and did another IVF. So now we have embryos from that too. Altogether we have 21. 12 from IVF#1 and 9 from IVF#2. But I really don't think that is typical.
GOOD LUCK GOOD LUCK GOOD LUCK!

We have 7 frozen - but we did five fresh IVFs before we ever had anything decent to freeze. All six frozen blasts we have, we got from this very last IVF. We do have one from a previous cycle, but have been repeatedly told that it is probably not viable.
We plan to try them all - and unless we get twins or trips the first FET out of the gate, my guess is we'll go through them all. We'd love more kids, so having them waiting for us is a blessing for us.
I have 5 frozen embies!
We transferred 2, and we have 2 frozen.
I was kinda upset when only 6 eggs were retrieved, but now I am really glad that we only have 2 frozen because I didn't want left over embryos. We will transfer both of the 2 remaining embryos eventually.
