XP: AW Nursery Mural is finished!

I used 100% non-toxic Mythic paint and although it was a pain to use (I am not certain it's meant for murals) I am happy that I was able to use an EF paint. check it out... I was also planning to dress up the windows a bit, since the blinds look a bit plain..WDYT? a valance maybe? something simple, right?

How is everything going btw? I saw your reply on my birth story a while back- you're in Boynton too right?

  • Beautiful!  We haven't started ours yet.  I'm thinking we need to get our butts in gear!

  • That is amazing!  Great job girl-wow. I agree on the window, I'd just go with something simple.  You could do a valance, or, depending on how much light that room gets, you could do a simple window-length panel in a darker blue fabric to help block more light for easier nap times.  Either way, it's gorgeous!
  • Oh my goodness! You did an amazing job!!
  • Wow!  I think DS needs something like that...

Re. window- definitely something very simple.

I'm not a painter, but since I got laid off, I'm thinking this may be an option for extra income. this was a MAJOR pain, so I'm still on the fence about it LOL

  • That is GORGEOUS!

  • A simple (maybe sheer?) valance would be perfect.

Ditto!  The mural is beautiful.  I agree that maybe a dark blue fabric will look good and help block more light during the day for naps.  Great job!

  • I love it!

I would do a valance so you can show off as much of the mural as possible!  You could always change it and add darker curtains if daytime napping becomes an issue.

    again, LOVE IT!
