wierd face rash

I'm hesistant to call it a rash because it doesn't itch and I usually think of rashes as itchy. When I first noticed it, I thought it was just acne but the more I look in the mirror and feel around I don't think that's it. My skin feels extremely smooth but there are just small red marks all over my face. It's worse under my eyes but there is also some around my chin line. I really wish I could get a good picture of it because I'm so bad at explaining things. I guess my question is, does anybody else have any wierd face rashes. I'm going to ask my Dr. next monday but I also feel wierd asking questions like these because I'm not sure if they are pregnancy related or not.

  • My skin was really dry a few weeks ago.  It was kinda red, splotchy like a rash.  I started using my humidifier and put Curel lotion on my face.  I've had pretty good results so far.
  • Have you vomited or strained at all??

I had a bad bout of food poisoning around week 18 and I vomited so hard I burst capillaries on my face which left a "rash" just like you are describing. Eyelids, chin, just below the chin, cheeks etc. Skin still smooth, not itchy.

I asked the OB why I didn't get this with first tri m/s, she said that my blood volume had now increased greatly from first tri.

I didn't even think about that. I noticed it just after I got done puking. Of course I don't think I strained very hard to puke but I'm sure it could have been enough to hurt some. I've also never had it with first tri so I didn't really think of that.
