Anyone make their own Moby Wrap?

I really want one, but I don't want to spend $40. ?Someone suggested making one. ?I`m fairly crafty, but I'm not sure if it's worth it. ?Anyone have success with making one, or should I just suck it up and spend the $40?

    I made mine and got 2 Mobys for about 20 dollars. ?All you need to do is get 5-6 yards of cotton jersey and cut it down the middle.

    Ditto to pp.  I am making one for DH this weekend becaus ehe doesnt like the color of mine.  I paid for name on the first but dont plan on it the second time!

    That is what I was thinking! ?I made DS a quilt and spent over $40 buck son fabric. ?I guess I`ll look and see if I can find something decent on sale.

    Does anyone have instructions or did you just "wing it?"?

    This!  Where are you people finding cheap cotton jersey?  The only kind I could find at the fabric store was $6.99 a yard ... easier to just pay someone else to do it in that case.

    Instructions:

    By 5-6 yards of fabric (JoAnns had knits 40% off this week)

    Cut fabric down the middle "hot dog" style

    Look up Moby Wrap instructions on YouTube.

    Wear the "Moby"?

    i thought about making one until i looked at the cotton jersey. i ended up just ordering one from target...it worked out to about the same price in the end for me.

    i made mine for 7 bucks from the clearance fabric at walmart. definitely got lucky there!
