DS would only sleep on/next to me early on. After about 3-4 wks I had him start sleeping on an incline positioner next to me in bed, and I gradually moved it further away from me (as much as possible in our king bed). I set up 2 dining table chairs next to bed and put an infant travel bed on them, and then put him in it still on the positioner. I would do each step for several nights to a week. Next step was the positioner in our PnP in our room, then the crib.
It worked out great and he sleeps in it everynight!
I just kept trying, he hated his crib at first but after about a week he got more comfortable in it. Now he falls asleep in there pretty easily. I used a crib positioner which seemed to help.
Re: How to transition from co-sleeping to crib?
